Humanities Update
Update from the Humanities Department
It has been a busy half term in Humanities with lots of hard work going on to close gaps in learning, to inspire and motivate, and broaden horizons. In particular, staff and students have been working tirelessly to prepare our Year 11 and 13 cohorts for their upcoming mock examinations. Please continue to praise their hard work and we wish them well as the revision steps up!
In light of the pandemic the need to inspire and motivate our students is more important than ever. As a team the Humanities department have worked hard to create this fabulous careers display, showcasing the broad and varied careers a degree in Humanities can lead you to! For example, have you ever considered a career in law, politics or education? Or perhaps you fancy working in traffic light management or with Mclaren Racing? If you are feeling adventurous, how about a career in Africa, Asia or Fiji? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then Humanities are subjects for you!
Nearly everyone on the display is a friend or family member of someone in the Humanities team. If their career interests you, let us know so we can answer any questions, and support you in making the right career decisions to reach your goal!
